The Dominican Retreat and Conference Center in Niskayuna, New York offers retreats for women and men, workshops and presentations to enhance your spiritual life and growth. We offer retreats for persons in 12 step programs on topics of alcoholism, abuse, and eating issues. Be sure to check out the Windmill, a private hermitage, available for private individual retreats. If you need a place to hold a retreat or conference, we have just the spot for you!

The Dominican Retreat and Conference Center, a ministry of the Dominican Sisters of Peace, is open to each person who desires to grow personally and spiritually in a sacred, peaceful, and safe environment.  Opportunities are offered for individuals and groups to come for enrichment, reflection and rest..

As of this moment, we at the Dominican Retreat and Conference Center are canceling our programs between now and  July 12, 2020, at which point we will re-evaluate if we can open, and when we may be able to reschedule some of the canceled programs. Please check back for updates.


If you have made any deposits, please let us know if you would like to transfer that money to another program at a later date, if you need the money refunded, or if you would consider donating it to the ministry here.


We realize that these are difficult times and that some of you may feel isolated by the restrictions that are necessary for the health and well being of all.  If you would find it helpful to have someone to talk to, please feel free to call us here at the Retreat House.  If there is no answer, please leave your name and phone number and one of us would be happy to connect with you.
